Gameplay wise is quite fun for a clicker game with there being a lot to do in terms of gaining an endless amount of cookies. There are some new things that are new which is cool to see. Though it does look the same as i remember with being familiar with all these different upgrades like the grandmas and such. I remember playing this in my uni library way back in 2015 so playing this now gives me a nice nostalgia trip.
Initially released in 2013, it is now out on steam with tons and tons of new feature and content. Really a great and classic clicker and idle game. FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDYS: HELP WANTED Gmaeplay Even nowadays where I can play all high end games I enjoy clicker games every now and then and always compare them to cookie clicker. It was fun and still is, it even brought me into the whole idle/clicker-game section. Now that I have a proper job here it is: Thanks for the good times I had with this game. Years ago when I was poor this was the only game running on my notebook I had to apply to jobs, before it broke some day. I basically just bought this game to say thank you to the devs.
Ascend to gain permanent transcendental upgrades!. Lovingly-crafted pixel art and flavor text!. The game continues while your phone is closed, so you can set up your ideal bakery and resume later to reap the delicious profits!. Hundreds of upgrades and achievements to unlock. Tap to make cookies, then buy things that make cookies for you. The Steam release is probably making this worse as people go to check out the browser version. Once it loads there’s no issue, but sometimes I have to refresh the page a few times to get that load to happen. One thing I should note regarding my recommendation is that for the past few months the browser version has been unreliable in loading. So for those who have already “played” Cookie Clicker for thousands of hours, the $5 might be worth it if you like Steam Achievement bragging rights. I did after first launching it and received 490 Steam achievements (taking about 10 minutes to go through the whole list). Ah, that’s right: You can export the data from your browser instance and import it into here. Plus, if I decide to stick with the browser I can take the progress I’ve made in the Steam version and import it there. At this point I’m uncertain I’ll move to the Steam version to continue my bakery into year 8 (9?) or continue in the browser, but either way I don’t regret the $5 spent.
The original idle game where you bake cookies to rule the universe! This is the official Cookie Clicker app by Orteil & Opti.
